My handmade caps draw on traditional styles of men’s and unisex headwear from the 19th and early 20th centuries through the mid-20th century. These are soft, sewn caps rather than molded hats, with styles ranging from newsboy and engineer caps to flatter vintage-inspired designs.

Made by me, a master milliner, in my Orillia studio, each cap is constructed from carefully selected fabrics including wool, tweed, velvet, denim, and other distinctive materials. They are designed to be practical enough for everyday wear while retaining the character and craftsmanship of traditional menswear.

Many of these styles are suitable for both men and women. The collection includes historically researched designs as well as my own interpretations of vintage and traditional cap styles.

The designs shown here are examples of my work. Some may have sold, but new caps are added as I make them.
