I create historically researched hats and caps inspired by original designs from a wide range of periods. My work spans 15th-century European headwear, Regency and 1812-era styles, Victorian and Edwardian hats, and millinery from the 1920s through the 1970s and beyond.

My historical work includes women's millinery as well as men's and unisex hats, caps, and selected military headwear. Some are close reproductions of historical examples, while others are carefully researched interpretations based on period photographs, surviving hats, illustrations, and other historical sources.

Each piece is handmade by me, a master milliner, in my Orillia studio. I research the shapes, construction, materials, and details of historical hats and recreate them using appropriate millinery techniques.

The gallery includes examples from different eras, including 15th-century, Regency, 1812, Victorian, Edwardian, 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and 1970s millinery, as well as later vintage styles. Some designs may have sold, but they show the range of historical work I create.
